Spaten Brewery is vegan friendly

"I called the Spaten Eastern US number. The woman sounded like she was having a crap day and was a bit confused by the question, but she asked someone and said that none of their beers use animal products in the brewing process. I asked if that also included the filtering process, and she said yes. Even so, I'm sure a double-check couldn't hurt. Their site shows a centerfuge in one step, and a filter (of unknown composition) in the final stage. Looks and sounds promising."
