Top Out Brewery is vegan friendly

Company email (November 2013): "I'm the brewer and as a vegetarian it was important to me to make vegetarian beer and our beers are labelled as such. I have looked into all the ingredients and process aids we use and they are certainly vegetarian and I have no reason to believe that they aren't vegan. However since I don't know enough about them I didn't want to label them as suitable for vegans, although I'm pretty sure they are. The finings I use are seaweed based, we don't use any isingglass or gelatin. We are a very small company, just two of, so everything happens in our brewery and we have full control over the process. We don't have our beers brewed or even bottled anywhere else. We produce different beers and will widen our range continuously. So far we haven't used any animal products at all, but I can imagine that we might use products like lactose or honey in the future. If we do they will be clearly labelled as such."
