"If it's in keg or bottle then yes [it's vegan], if cask then I'm afraid not. We still use isinglass at the moment but we're working on alternatives."

"Just wanted to let you know of my brewery, The Spey Valley Brewerys and our beer Spey Stout which uses no finings. I make very small batches of beer, just 18gallons at a time, but am hoping to produce a larger batch in a bigger brewery soon. I intend to bottle this batch so wanted to include it on your website to let anyone interested in trying it know that it is vegan friendly. The brewery is too small at this stage to have any kind of certification, but as I am the brewer I can assure you that nothing other than the malt, hops, yeast and water are used in the brewing process. Carageenan, PVPP and silica hydrogel may be used in the bottling process as they filter the beer prior to bottling, but they are vegan friendly processing aids and I will be speaking to the bottlers to see if they'd be happy to bottle without any fining.
The other beers from the brewery are not available in bottles yet and do use isinglass finings at the moment, but I am still working on getting the appropriate clarity using bentonite. I'll be sure to let you know when those become available.
