Products by Indeed Brewing Company:
Not Vegan Friendly
Company email (March 2014):
"Got a centrifuge. Have eliminated animal products in the clarification process but have not stopped during our boil. That may happen in the next 6 months depending on some trials we are running.
Honey is always clearly labeled."
Company email (October 2013):
"Currently we use isinglass and biofine in our clarification processes.
In January of 2013 we are installing a mechanical separator for clarifying our beer which will eliminate our use of animal products.
We use honey in shenanigans summer ale, LSD honey ale, and a number of specialty beers."
Company email (April 2012):
"Our process will use a mix of inisglass and a product called BioFine, both of which are made with the swim bladders of fish.
In time it is possible that we will offer beers that are made not using this fining process. One potential solution is to add a centrifuge filter but they are a very significant investment and out of reach of a startup like us."
