Company email (October 2017) "We're still in the same facility, but all of our beers are vegan friendly now. We started clarifying our beers with a centrifuge about a year and a half ago, where prior to that we were using gelatin. Shotgun Betty was always vegan friendly because it is unfiltered. Now all of our beers are either processed through the centrifuge to remove yeast and natural sediment, or are unfiltered as Betty is." Company email (September 2011): "Shotgun Betty is vegan-friendly, and so is Belle Starr (our limited holiday seasonal). Unfortunately our other beers are clarified with gelatin. All processing equipment that is shared amongst our beer styles undergoe intensive chemical cleaning regiments between each style, so we can guarantee that no gelatin or beer made with gelatin is present in Shotgun Betty or Belle Starr. We are making a large effort to eliminate gelatin from our filtration process as we move into a new facility in the next year. "
