"Our beers are all natural and unfiltered, with no additives or preservatives. We do use gelatin in the processing of most of our beers for clarification purposes. We have searched for a different solution, but are unable to find one. Suggestions would be appreciated. Unfortunately the market will not accept a beer that is not clear.
Our Salt Spring Porter *DOES NOT* use gelatin in its process, so I can confirm that this beer is definitely vegan friendly. As a dark beer, its clarity is less of an issue."
