Products by Allagash Brewing Company:

Company email (November 2024)
"There are no animal products used in Chocolate Orange Porter, or in any of our Core Beers. We do occasionally use honey in a few specialty releases.
All our beer is made here."

Company email (December 2021)
"Fine Acre is not made with any animal products, and we only make all of our beer in one location: our brewery in Portland, Maine.

In fact, the vast majority of our beer is vegan—and 100% of our year-round beers are vegan. Those year-round beers include: Allagash White, River Trip, North Sky, Tripel, Curieux, Barrel & Bean, and House beer. We don’t use animal products or processing aids like isinglass (which is a fish-based product) or gelatin. Sometimes, we release specialty beers that use honey or lactose as an ingredient, but that information will always be on the label. "

Company email (December 2017)
"We don't use milk products, eggs, isinglass or gelatin. We do; however, use honey and lactose in a few of our beers. We list our beer ingredients on all of our beer labels. We only brew and bottle our beer here at our brewery in Portland, Maine."

Company email (May 2015)

"The overwhelming majority of our beer would be considered vegan-friendly. We do not use animal by products or processing aids such as isinglass or gelatin. Occasionally, we may release a specialty beer using honey as an ingredient but it is always mentioned on the label. Our product in only brewed and bottled/kegged right here in Portland, Maine.

Company email (circa 2010)

"Our beers, we learned recently, are vegan friendly."
