Products by Snoqualmie Vineyards:
Not Vegan Friendly
Company email (July 8, 2014): [after asking for clarification]
"All of the current release Snoqualmie ECO and Columbia Valley wines have been made without the use of animal products or byproducts."
Company email (July 4, 2014):
"Our organically grown ECO (formerly Naked) Tier of wines are not processed with or derived from materials of animal origin.
We make every effort to avoid using materials of animal origin in the making of our Columbia Valley Tier of wines. However, in rare vintages where wine quality warrants, we may choose to employ the use of animal derived fining agents, such as egg white, in the making of our Columbia Valley Tier of wine."
Company email (December 2013):
"Some of the lots for the Eco (formerly Naked) and Organic wines may be fined using egg whites, so we can't guarantee that any of the Snoqualmie wines are vegan-friendly.
We make every effort to avoid using egg whites in the fining process for the Eco and Organic wines, but we can't guarantee that they aren't used for any particular wine or vintage."
"There are no animal derived ingredients or process aids used in making the Snoqualmie Naked Wines. Since 2004 vintage forward, there has been no animal derived ingredients or process aids used in making Snoqualmie Wines."
