"Past vintages will be different, but it is a true statement to say that since the 2011 vintage our wines are technically vegan as there are no additives and no fining agents used. Nothing in the winemaking uses animal products. Someone, who may be aware of biodynamic farming practices may object to the use of animal products in our vineyards. IN that sense, the grapes may be derived from animal products.
Wine is a slippery slope for vegans. Grapes grown from fossil fuel-based fertilizers or those grown organically using cow horns and stag’s bladders…….."
