Company email (June 2025)

"Yes all of our bottle and cask beers are vegan friendly and no isinglass is used in them."

Jim says (August 2011):
"We run a fully vegan bar nearby and have a good relationship with the brewery. We have visited several times and toured the whole site and they use a centrifuge rather than isinglass to clear all of their ales (the master brewer is dutch and so learnt his trade on the continent where this is more commonplace). Also, the brewing process for bottles and cask is the same, both are filled from the same vats. Most of their beers are now vegan society approved with the others on the way."

per James, this may be the vegan bar referred to the in the above response: http://www.happycow.net/reviews.php?id=22103

Company Website (April 2011):
"Our bottled beers are further endorsed by the Vegan Society and the CAMRA Real Ale in a Bottle campaign."
