Robert Young Estate Winery is vegan friendly

Company email (May 2014): "I have asked our winemaker Kevin Warren to respond to your questions: We are a small 5,000 to 6,000 case winery that grows, makes and bottles everything here at the ranch in beautiful Alexander Valley. I did not use any of the items listed below on any of the wines we have for sale now or in the past. In the lab I have tried the effects of egg whites and other products which are age old fining agents but did not like the results so I do not use them. Our wines are aged in barrels for a long time which eliminates the need for certain additives. I have used many of the items years ago at different wineries but do not use any animals ingredients presently."
