"Nikau Point wines are produced and bottled by One Tree Hill Vineyards, which
is a subsidiary of Morton Estate Wines and utilities the same bottling
facility.
In answer to your question, most red wines are fined using either egg or
milk derived protein. This is used to reduce tannin content and/or soften
the wine. The wine is racked off leaving any protein residue behind. The
amounts remaining in the wine are next to untraceable.
