Company email (May 2012): "We attempt to clear our wines as naturally as we can. We allow the sediment time to settle in our barrells and tanks and then use bentonite (clay) for additional barrell clarification. We do use a filtering system but to my knowledge it uses cellulose and clay as its medium. To the best of my knowledge, we use no products that would contain animal products or by-products. We do use common wine chemicals and additives but again to my knowledge these do not contain animal by-products. If you have found out differetly I would be interested in knowing this."
