Company email (February 2017):
"we do not use any animal products in the brewing or filtration
process of our beers.

"There are rare exceptions where we may use honey in some of our limited
Taproom only releases but those moments are extremely rare. It is safe to
say that all of our core products that are for available in bottles and kegs
outside of our Taproom in Ithaca are vegan friendly."

Company email (June 2014): re: Flower Power and Country Pumpkin
"The Honey Malt is a variety of malt, as is chocolate malt, caramel malt, etc. It refers to flavor components you get from the roasting of the malt. No actual honey or chocolate is used."

Company email (April 2012):
"The good news is that we do not use gelatin or isinglass or similar animal-based products in the making of our beers, our filter pads are made entirely of cellulose too - some filter pads contain diatomaceous earth.
However, there is one beer we make, Excelsior! alpHalpHa which is fermented with alfalfa honey."

Company email via Kevin M.
"I'm happy to tell you that we recently stopped using animal products as a filtration aid in ALL of our products."

Company email via Michael:
"We do not use any of the products you mentioned in any of our beers. Our beer is vegan friendly."
