What the company told us

Correspondence on record, with the date of each entry.

Company email (February 2012): "I don't add anything to my cider apart from around 3 teaspoons of cultured (wine) yeast per 1,000 litres of apple juice to start fermentation. There are no added sulphites, sweeteners, finings or other additives and the cider is made only from apple juice that I press myself. My ciders are also allowed to ferment down to their natural level, so the process is about as natural as can be. My Mulled Cider has cane sugar and spices added and bottles are then pasteurised to ensure that they do not restart fermenting. On this basis, I believe that they are vegan-friendly and would be happy to be listed in your directory."
