What the company told us

Correspondence on record, with the date of each entry.

Company email (July 2021) "With regards to the additives used for our wines, I think the easiest way to answer this question is to say that from 2017 onwards, all our red wines have been made without the use of animal derived products such as you list below. I rarely feel the need to fine our red wines and if I did I would use a vegetable protein based fining agent which I have found works well in the past. The whites are slightly more complicated. I do fine the juice and sometimes the wine to balance out the phenolic components on finer white styles such as Riesling and Semillon. Much of this is again using a vegetable protein based fining agent but I do like the effect skim milk has on Riesling juice and have used that for the past few years. There is also the possibility that I use a touch of isinglass on the finished wines. So as a general rule I would say our whites would need to be checked on a cases by case basis (vintage and variety) for vegans or vegetarians."
