Company email (September 2019)
"Both our red and white wines are made at the same facility with the same equipment, and the same filters, so all of our wine is Vegan. It looks like in 2011 you contacted our winemaker, and he mentioned there was a small amount of gelatin used in fining the red wines. We have had a different winemaker for the past few years now, and he does not use the same method. All products we use in our wine are non-animal based. The only SKU we have that I cannot vouch for being 100% vegan is our California Sparkling wine, as this is a wine we don't make ourselves."
Company email (December 2011):
"the only animal product that comes to mind is gelatin. We fine the heavy press fractions of our red wines with a small amount."
