The only one that we cannot guarantee is our Chardonnay Champagne as that is made off-site so we’re not comfortable calling it vegan. "The rest of our wines are all made with practices and ingredients that are both animal- and planet-friendly. I’m actually a vegan and one of the things I was most excited about when I started working here in 2006 was how many of the wines were made without the use of animal products and how receptive the winemaking staff was to trying to cut down even more on how many were. I'm writing to let you know that the wines at Hunt Country Vineyards, located in Upstate NY, are vegan (with only a couple exceptions, I'm still working on those ones). I've been working at Hunt Country since 2006 and have been asking them ever since to make their wines vegan and we finally got there with the last two vintages - 2006 & 2007!.
