"The only animal-source item we have used in any of our wines is milk protein (casein), specifically in Pinot Blanc, Muscat, Pinot Grigio and barrel fermented Chardonnays. It has not been used in any other of our white wines, none of our red wines and none of our Icewines or other dessert wines.
"All of our wine is made here, under our direct control in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, and from grapes grown within the Niagara Peninsula."

"We very seldom use any of those animal products, although we have used them in the distant past as fining agents in a very few wines. Those wines have all been sold (for at least a couple of years) and none of the wines that we currently have at the winery or in the LCBO contains any of those things."
