Company email (April 2021)

"None of the wines currently on market have had any products relating to animals used in them, we haven't used any products since 2015, and even then that was on only two wines:

2015 Zenith Vineyard Pinot Noir
2015 Upper Five Vineyard Tempranillo

"The timing of your email is perfect as we are assessing the 2020 wines and think they may need some fining to remove some astringency. Just yesterday I purchased a product called Vegecoll to use in fining trials. This product uses a potato based protein to remove astringency, so it would fall into the vegetarian/vegan category. It is my hope that it will work as we hope so we can keep the wine safe for everyone to enjoy, while putting out the best wine possible."

Company email (February 2018)

"We generally do not use fining products in our wines but have on occasion. The only wines that have been fined are as follows:

2014 Zenith Vineyard Pinot Noir
2014 Lia’s Vineyard Pinot Noir
2015 Upper Five Vineyard Tempranillo"
