Company email (March 2020) "All of our current wines are vegan friendly." [List updated from their online store lineup] Company email (March 2016): "We do have wine in FreshTap Kegs – our 2014 Chardonnay Unoaked and 2013 Fireside Cabernet are currently available... Each of these wines do not contain any animal by-products, and we do not use any animal products in their production such as isinglass or gelatin. Additionally, any sugar that we use for chaptalization is fine granulated sugar which is refined without the use of animal products such as bone char." Note from Marta: "I recently contacted two wineries in Niagara via phone. Fielding said that most of their whites are vegan-friendly. The 2008 Gewurzt is not. Most of their reds too. The Cab Souv 2006 is not. They called me back the next day to say that everything before '08 is questionable (at the time they had a winemaker who didn't keep very good records). They will now keep this list handy for others inquiring about vegan-friendly wines."
