"Rippon wines are all grown and produced here on the Sargood/Mills family farm, which has been operating bio-dynamically since 2002. We have a small herd of Highland cattle whose manure is integral to the health of our vineyard. Beyond this, and the chickens we move through the vines, no animals or animal parts are used in the creation of our wines. In fact, none of our mature-vine Pinot Noirs receive filtering or fining of any kind.
"Our wines are bottled in Cromwell at Vinpro but there is absolutely no intervention or additions to the wines from the bottling facility. The wines essentially go straight from tank to bottle."
