Company email (October 2019) "Unfortunately, all of our wines are made with a dairy bi-product during the fermentation process. This product gets filtered out 100% and there is no residue leftover in the wine itself, but morally it is still not vegan." Company Email (circa 2010) "In response to your question concerning animal products we do use those types of fining agents in most all of our wines including Riverboat Red. However because of the nature of fining the products actually go through the wine and fall out they are not actually consumed, unless you were to drink it unfiltered. We filter all of our wine with the exception of port."
