"All of our beers are vegan.

Here are our ingredients:

Watchstander Stout is made with: Certified gluten-free malted millet, certified gluten-free brown rice, hops, and certified gluten-free yeast.

Vanishing Point Pale Ale is made with: Certified gluten-free malted millet, certified gluten-free brown rice, hops, and certified gluten-free yeast.

Shrouded Summit Witbier is made with: Certified gluten-free malted millet, certified gluten-free organic malted buckwheat, certified gluten-free brown rice, hops, juniper berries, orange peel, coriander, and certified gluten-free yeast.

Grapefruit IPA: Certified gluten-free sorghum, certified gluten-free brown rice, certified gluten-free Belgian candi syrup, certified gluten-free corn maltodextrin, hops, grapefruit zest, and certified gluten-free yeast.

We add no natural or artificial flavors or colors, only whole herbs and spices. We use no soy ingredients, and currently only our Grapefruit IPA uses a corn ingredient. Due to concerns about the potential use of GMOs in corn maltodextrin, we are preparing to replace it with certified organic non-GMO tapioca maltodextrin. We cannot make that switch until we have used up all of our cans printed with corn maltodextrin listed in the ingredients. All of our other beers are GMO-free and corn-free.

We add no preservatives, stabilizers, or fillers. The only off-label additives are Irish moss (a whole and natural seaweed) to precipitate proteins in the boil, which are filtered out in the kettle, and trace amounts of a few vitamins, minerals, and micronutrients to support the health of our yeast and ensure rapid and consistent fermentation.

All of our beers are very “low tech”; we don’t filter or pasteurize, we don’t add any finings, we don’t use any artificial ingredients. Our packaged beers are all vegan as well, using no honey or animal products.

In addition, our malts are produced in a dedicated gluten-free malting facility, and the entire supply chain is gluten-free—no shared equipment or storage facilities! We can trace our malts all the way back to the very field the grains are grown in. We take cross-contamination very seriously here at Ghostfish."
