"I believe our product is vegan. We do not use animal products or animal by products. We'd never thought about this before until my husband was having a
conversation about the manufacture of wine and beer with the owner of one of our oldest and dearest customers in Sydney whose food is vegetarian (and
extremely delicious). The owner at the time was not aware of what actually went into the process of making wine and beer until my husband, who is both a brewer and trained as a winemaker, enlightened him. Typically in wine, milk and eggs are used as fining agents, and in beer issinglass (pulverised fish bladder) or products of bovine extraction are used as fining agents. We do not use issinglass or bovine products as fining agents."
