"All of our gins are vegan, however our whiskies can not be classified as vegan as when the barley is boiled in the mash tun, a small amount of butter is added to prevent the liquid from foaming over the top. All of this is filtered out through the whisky making process so there is no trace of butter in the final product, however, we cannot classify our whisky as vegan."
