"Blue Duck Rare Vodka is made using high-purity ethanol produced from whey, which is a waste/by-product stream from Fonterra's dairy processing not far from us here in Tauranga. Sadly, this means Blue Duck or Black Robin can't technically be called vegan-friendly."
