Company email (January 2020)

"The majority of our beers are vegan friendly. Orinoco (our mocha milk stout) does contain lactose sugar and we occasionally use lactose in small batch beers. We don’t use finings or isinglass in any of our beers though – all of our core range is vegan friendly apart from Orinoco."

Company email (March 2016)

"I can now confirm that our core range beers (Gladeye IPA, Bearface Lager, Outaspace Apple Ale and Ax Man Rye IPA) are suitable for vegans in both bottled and kegged formats. All of our smaller batch Studio Beers are also suitable for Vegans as these are unfiltered and unfined when packaged in bottles or kegs. The only beers we make which are not suitable for Vegans are any beer which is dispensed on cask. This includes our range of cask ales (Seven Peaks, Reflex and Pale Duke), which are still fined with Isinglass. This, however, does not apply to any bottled version of these beers."

Company email (August 2015)

"We use isinglass in all our products unfortunately. In the next few months we will be doing away with the isinglass but for now it persists. Unfortunately it is the best product available for clearing beers in the conditioning tanks however with technology we can eliminate it and will be making that investment soon.

We do however, stock hundreds of beers in the bar and so there will be something that is vegan friendly."
