Company email (August 2017)
"All our beers are processed here, and there is no animal products used in the processing of our packaged beer.

"Some of our beers at the pub are filtered, with the aid of Kieselguhr [diatomaceous earth], but this affects only a small number of the beers we have on our local tap."

Company email (March 2015):

[Translation by Stig] "Almost all Ægir products are vegan friendly with two exceptions (see below). This means most of our beers are manufactured without animal products as you mentioned. The exceptions are products not yet on the market, one of those is mead made from honey, and one Oyster Stout wherein oyster has been used in the brewing process. Only those two Ægir beers are not vegan friendly."

Company email (January 2012):
"We don't use animal products in the production of any of our beers.
We may later produce mead with honey."
