Company email (February 2013):
Q: "I was wondering - do you guys still use gelatin for fining your clear-er beer styles?"

A: "Actually, no. We hardly ever fine any beer that goes into bottles or kegs, since we use a centrifuge at Airport Way. On the Hill we still fine, so if a beer was made there or at Elysian Fields, and if it's pale, it was probably fined. If it's available in a store or at another bar or restaurant (or on the Hill should the kegs have come from Airport Way), it wasn't. Easy to know? Not particularly, but the fact is that nearly all of our beer these days in un-fined."

Company email:
Our Perseus Porter and Dragonstooth Stout are vegan.

We do however use gelatin as a clarifying agent in our more translucent beer styles, the Wise ESB, The Immortal IPA, the Zephyrus Pilsner and the Avatar Jasmine IPA.

We have a collaberation with new belgium in fort collins co, and they use a cetrafuge for clarification, so, anything brewed there would be vegan also. That would be 22oz bottles of the Bifrost, Immortal, Loser, Avatar, and Night owl(pumpkin ale). These will be marked clearly on the left side of the label brewed by Elysian in Fort Collins, CO.

All of the beers (with very rare exception) produced at our Elysian Fields location are vegan. We hardly ever sell any of this beer to other bars or in bottles and is only available at our 3 locations on draft.
