Company email (January 2016):
"I work for Bridge Brewing Company in North Vancouver. I just noticed that someone has done a write up about our brewery on how none of our beer was vegan except the Kolsch that we supplied to the Acorn. I just want to give you an update that it was only the Kolsch that wasn’t vegan at that time. Now we are proud to use absolutely no animal products in any of our brews… and never will."

Company email (January 2015):
"We use isinglass finings on the majority of our beers. As we don't have a beer filtration system, we have found that using isinglass is currently the only way to get our beers to the clarity that we (and our customers) find acceptable.

We do occasionally prepare a small vegan batch of our Wunderbar Kolsch, which we bottle in-house and distribute to The Acorn restaurant/bar on Main Street. I believe all of the beer they sell there is vegan.

Also, occasionally some of our seasonal brews are prepared without finings -- the most recent example was this year's version of 'The Grinch'. This really depends on the beer, however -- if it is a dark enough beer and a bit of haze is acceptable in the final product then we won't use isinglass. More often than not we do use it though.

Finally, all of our cask-conditioned beers are prepared without isinglass, in a vegan-friendly manner. We tap one of these casks every Friday at our brewery. We also sell these to a variety of restaurants/bars around town -- The Railway Club, Craft, and Biercraft frequently have these on offer.

Our product is manufactured solely by us, at our North Vancouver facility."
