Company email: (May 2023)
"We currently only have one Vegan beer and that’s our Theakston Pale Ale."

Email from Peter:
Photo of bottle of Theakston Pale 4.5% ABV that says "suitable for vegans" on the bottle.

Company email (January 2016):
"All our products wether Cask , Keg or Bottle all have Isinglass added as a process aid."

Company email (November 2015):
"For all our beers , being traditional, we use Isinglass finings as a processing aid . This is derived from swim bladders of large tropical fish. As such , I’m afraid , our products aren’t suitable for vegans or vegetarians."

Company email (April 2013):
"The good news is that finings are not used in our bottled beers so they are suitable for vegetarians."

Company email:
"We are traditional brewers and therefore we use Isinglas Finings to clarify our beers and therefore they are unsuitable for vegans."

Company email:
We are a traditional brewery using tradtional brewing methods and so we do still use isinglass finings as a clearing agent in our beers, therefore we are not a vegan product.
