Barnivore on iPhone/iPod Touch
At the moment, all of the apps below are MIA in the iTunes Store, but the
developers are working on it - we don't make the apps, we just provide the data and
publicize their efforts, so there's not a lot we can do about this, sorry!
We're keeping the list here for reference but removing the menu link
to this page. Updates will appear when we hear more.
Thanks to the efforts of some great people out there, Barnivore data is being used in a growing number of mobile applications!
iVegan by Vegan.FM is on the iPhone and combines Barnivore data with info on animal ingredients, animal testing, and more.
Vegan is Easy was developed by Matthew Feinberg and contains a snapshot of all of our beer, wine, and liquor listings.
Is Your Beer Vegan, Is Your Wine Vegan, and Is Your Liquor Vegan were all developed by Heather Jensen and contain pretty much what you'd guess each app to contain.
Please note that all of the above apps are written and maintained by third parties. While we're happy to supply the information they use, we have no control over their development and make no warranties as to their functionality or, well, anything else. To the best of our knowledge, all of the above apps use a snapshot of our data and the information on the actual website may be more recent. This list is provided as a service to our readers and as a way of saying thanks for the products being out there.
And of course, if you want to just use the mobile internet on your iPhone (or many other modern smartphone devices) you can just go ahead and do that - we've got a mobile-optimized version of the site that'll "just work" when you visit.
