"Thank you for your inquiry about our beers. As Director of Brewing Operations and NABC’s resident raw vegan, I was elected to supply an answer. We brew 100’s of different beers year round, only two are not vegan. Naughty Claus is a spiced winter ale brewed with local honey and Hoosier Daddy Crimson and Cream Ale is brewed with lactose. We clearly list these ingredients on our labels. We originally included in bold type “VEGAN WARNING” on these two labels. The Feds made us remove this wording as it constitutes nutritional advice. I can’t understand why we are not allowed to let our customers make informed decisions on what they put in their bodies.
No other animal products are used in making our beer. With the two exceptions listed above, we brew clan, vegan friendly beer. Thanks again for your inquiry and your quest to inform. If I can be of further service, please ask."
